The Estate

Since its creation in 1859, Maison Louis Jadot has grown harmoniously, generation after generation, to become a worldwide reference today. Maison Jadot wines are recognized by this light yellow label featuring the sculpted head of Bacchus, god of wine and vines, the emblem of the House.

The terroir

The Pouilly-Fuissé vineyard is located south of Mâcon on bedrock soil formed in the Jurassic period, ideal for vines.

The grape variety

In Burgundy, wines are produced using a single type of vine, a practice known as monovarietal cultivation. Chardonnay is the grape variety that has made Burgundy's grands crus and white wines famous.

The wine

This Pouilly-Fuissé from Maison Louis Jadot, a soft golden color with slight green highlights, exudes aromas of citrus and hazelnuts. It is a delicate and balanced wine that will pair perfectly with a creamy white meat dish, fish, or mild cheese.

Dare to drink wine in half bottles!
