The Lussac Saint-Emilion appellation vineyard extends over 4.5 hectares around the beautiful windmill dating from 1711, located on the former estate of the Cistercian abbey of Faize. Its clay-limestone soil and sunshine give the wine produced from these plots its generosity and beautiful ruby red color. The Roskam-Brunot family offers us this rich and harmonious Lussac Saint-Emilion, produced with passion and respect for tradition.

The Estate

Located on the heights of Lussac in southwest France, Château Moulin de Grenet has been owned by Nicole Roskam-Brunot et Fils since 1970, also the owner of Château Cantenac. The Roskam family's expertise is evident in each of its bottles.

The terroir

The Château Moulin de Grenet vineyard is located at one of the highest points in the Lussac Saint-Emilion appellation, around an old mill dating back to 1711. Its sunshine and clay-limestone soil give the wine its unique character.

The grape variety

Merlot is the main grape variety in this Lussac Saint-Emilion. It is a red grape variety with small black berries that thrives particularly well in Saint-Emilion on cool, clay-limestone soils. Cabernet Franc is one of the oldest red grape varieties in Bordeaux and it is in Saint-Emilion that it offers its most beautiful range of aromas.

The wine

This Lussac Saint-Emilion is a generous wine with a beautiful ruby red color. It draws its personality from its unique terroir and the talent of the Roskam-Brunot family. Its nose is attractive and offers aromas of fruit and spices. Its palate is round and juicy, with a very expressive finish. It pairs well with braised duck leg, beef fillet with baby vegetables, or tiramisu.
