The Savagnin will bring a beautiful complexity and the Chardonnay will bring delicacy and suppleness to this Côtes du Jura from Domaine Rolet. This wine with a brilliant gold color is a complex wine that once aerated will reveal aromas of green walnut and candied fruit. It will be enjoyed with white meat or comté cheese.

The Estate

Domaine Rolet is one of the jewels of the Jura vineyards. It was founded in 1942 and is the largest independent wine estate in the Jura. Domaine Rolet produces the full range of Jura wines and the vines are managed sustainably.

The terroir

Domaine Rolet is made up of 65 hectares and the Côtes du Jura vineyard is located in the place called "Vrihou". The soils are mainly made up of grey marl and a few layers of fine limestone rich in fossils.

The grape variety

The Côtes du Jura from Domaine Rolet is a blend of 50% Chardonnay and 50% Savagnin. Chardonnay is the dominant grape variety in the Jura vineyard. It expresses the originality of its terroir. Savagnin is the flagship grape variety of the Jura, it produces powerful and complex wines that have good aging potential.

The wine

The Côtes du Jura Tradition from Domaine Rolet has a beautiful bright gold color and reveals aromas of almonds and mushrooms. It will be ideal as an accompaniment to white meat, asparagus or snails.
