Domaine d'Elise, established in 1970, is a renowned wine estate in the Chablis region, renowned for its high-quality wines. It was in 1982 that Frédéric Prain took the reins of this property, passionately continuing the tradition of producing exceptional Chablis.
2022 was an exceptional vintage for Domaine d'Elise. This dry and crisp white wine is often considered the perfect introduction to Chablis wines. The half bottle of Petit Chablis embodies these characteristics by offering a delicate and balanced taste experience. The subtle notes of white-fleshed fruit and the characteristic minerality of Chablis combine to offer a refined taste experience. This bottle of wine will be the perfect accompaniment to your fish dishes.

The Estate
Created in 1970 and taken over by Frédéric Prain in 1982, Domaine d'Elise has 13.5 hectares of vineyards that extend from the highest point of the Côte de Léchet to the commune of Milly opposite Chablis. Frédéric Prain is a passionate winemaker who works the vines with care and favors later than average harvests in order to obtain well-ripened grapes with aromas of flowers and fruits with a very present minerality.
The terroir
Situated on a hillside overlooking the small village of Milly, the Petit Chablis vineyard of Domaine d'Elise is located on very poor and very stony clay-limestone soil dating from the Jurassic period.
The grape variety
Chardonnay is the only grape variety producing Petit Chablis. This grape variety draws its originality and mineral richness from the Kimmeridgian marl subsoil and gives Chablis wine all its typicality.
The wine
The Petit Chablis from Domaine d'Elise has a beautiful, bright straw yellow color. On the nose, notes of flowers and fruits dominate, to which is added a very Chablisian minerality. This Petit Chablis is really not small and will pair wonderfully with oysters, shrimp or goat cheese.
