The Estate
Domaine Pierre Martin & Fils, with an area of 17 hectares, is located in the heart of Sancerre, mainly around Chavignol, a small wine-growing village also renowned for its emblematic cheese, Crottin de Chavignol.
Farmed using traditional methods, some of the estate's terroirs, such as Monts Damnés and Le Cul de Beaujeu, already enjoy worldwide renown.
Currently, the estate is in transition to organic farming.
The Wine
The nose, pleasant, refined and delicate, reveals aromas of citrus fruits, then, with aeration, notes of peach, pear and white flowers. On the palate, elegance is combined with a beautiful balance and a creamy texture, accompanied by complexity and minerality. The finish is long and persistent.
