Bugey Cerdon “2 years, 6 months, 15 days” 2023 - La Cuverie - Half-bottle 37.5cl

A Cerdon like no other, born from a slightly crazy project carried out with patience and passion. "2 years, 6 months, 15 days" is exactly the time it took from the idea of vinifying their own cuvée to its bottling. The result? A decidedly atypical wine in the appellation: much less sweet than what we usually know (less than 30 g/L), with extremely fine bubbles – the result of a much longer aging than the norm.

The Manufacturing Method

Whole bunches of grapes, pressed directly, followed by two months of fermentation in vats, then six months in bottles. And that's it. No unnecessary additions, just grapes, time, and care.

The Vines

20-year-old Gamay and Poulsard plots, planted at an altitude of 350 meters, with 5,000 vines per hectare. Eastern exposure, on a 20% slope. Hand-harvested on September 9 and 10, 2023.
