The domain
Château de Miraval , located in the picturesque village of Correns in the Var, is much more than just a property. It is a place full of history, culture and a passion for wine. This 600-hectare estate, with its pine forest, olive grove and 30-hectare vineyard, offers an idyllic setting for the production of exceptional wines.
Built in the 17th century, this Provençal-style château-bastide has had many owners over the centuries. But it was its acquisition in 2011 by Hollywood stars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie that propelled it to the forefront. The couple, passionate about wine, joined forces with winemaker Marc Perrin to operate the vineyard and produce high-quality rosé wines.
An exceptional terroir
The Miraval vineyard, cultivated on terraces at an average altitude of 350 meters, benefits from a unique clay-limestone terroir and a cool climate for the region. These ideal conditions allow the grapes to ripen slowly and retain a beautiful acidity, the signature of the great rosés of Provence.

Tasting note
A light pink gold dress with silver highlights, of great elegance.
The nose offers a complex and subtle aromatic bouquet, combining notes of hibiscus and amaryllis with a fruity heart, where aromas of vine peach are revealed.
On the palate, the refinement continues with a beautiful tension, a broad and silky texture, and a perfect balance. Gourmet flavors of crunchy fruits mingle with a fine minerality, with saline and calcareous touches.
The finish is exceptional, long and persistent.
Food and wine pairings
To be enjoyed as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to Provençal-style grilled vegetables, it will also go perfectly with fish or seafood, such as pan-fried scallops.
Dare to try half-bottle wine!
