The Estate
Located in the most beautiful terroirs of the Côte de Beaune, Maison Vincent Girardin began its winemaking business over thirty years ago. This exceptional estate is world-renowned for the purity of its style and the high quality of its wines. Maison Vincent Girardin offers wines from the most prestigious Burgundy appellations such as Volnay, Pommard, Santenay, Puligny-Montrachet, Savigny-lès-Beaune, and Meursault.
The terroir
Located in the lower part of the village of Volnay, the vines, around 65 years old, are planted on a gentle slope on soil composed of clay and limestone.
The grape variety
Pinot Noir is native to Burgundy. It produces the finest red Burgundy wines and has contributed significantly to the worldwide renown of this beautiful region. This grape variety is capable of elegantly capturing all the nuances of its terroir.
