The D omaine
Maison Louis Jadot was founded in 1859 and since its creation this great house has developed harmoniously across all the Burgundy appellations. It produces fine and balanced wines that can be found on the menus of the finest restaurants in the world.
The terroir
Located south of the Côte d'Or, the Beaujolais region is part of the Burgundy wine region. The Fleurie appellation covers approximately 800 hectares and the soil is mainly composed of schist and granite.
The grape variety
Gamay is a typical Burgundian grape variety and the granite soils of Beaujolais suit it perfectly. This is where it expresses itself best.
