Founded in 1834 in Tain l'Hermitage, on the Hermitage hill, Maison Paul Jaboulet Aîné was bought in 2006 by the Frey family, who attach great importance to the environment and practice gentle viticulture. Since 2013, the entire vineyard has been converting to organic farming. Maison Paul Jaboulet Aîné crafts excellent wines from among the finest appellations in the Rhône Valley.

The Terroir

The Saint-Joseph vineyard is planted on narrow terraces whose soil is composed mainly of granite.

The Wine

The long maceration allows the extraction of the finest aromas and the most supple tannins, while the aging in oak barrels, for 12 to 18 months, brought additional complexity while preserving the freshness and elegance of the wine.
