The Estate
Respecting the land by giving it the greatest care is the philosophy of the Perrin Family. The search for authenticity is essential to transmit it and bring it to life through these wines. For five generations, the Perrin Family has worked on each of its plots to reveal the hidden treasures of these unique terroirs.
The terroir
The vineyard of this white Côtes du Rhône is located in the villages of Cairanne and Jonquières. Laid on recent alluvium, of limestone origin, between the rivers Aigues and Ouvèze in Vaucluse, the soils are clayey-limestone and stony.
The grape variety
Grenache blanc is a vigorous grape variety, it produces relatively full-bodied and slightly acidic white wines, round and long in the mouth. Originating from the small village of Marsanne near Montélimar, Marsanne is a very vigorous white grape variety that thrives on stony, infertile and hot soils. It brings floral and hazelnut aromas and produces powerful wines. Roussanne is a white grape variety that likes lean and arid soils, stony and well-drained. It produces white wines of great finesse. Viognier is an old grape variety originally cultivated in the northern Côtes du Rhône. It is content with poor and dry soils on hillsides but with undeniable geological richness. It produces wines rich in alcohol, round and generous.
The wine
With its bright golden yellow color with green highlights, this Côtes du Rhône Réserve from the Perrin Family is very typical of the Rhône. It is an incomparable wine of freshness and depth that will be enjoyed with fish in sauce, a tian of sun vegetables or a bouillabaisse.
